Managing an occupancy change

This article will help you manage a change in occupancy

When one levy-paying business moves out and another moves in you must follow this process to manage the change and to keep the database free of duplicates.

  • Copy the Property Reference number from the existing Business record

  • Click the new blue '+' button

  • Enter the Property reference number

  • Click to resolve the conflict - this will archive the old business and create a new record for the new business with the Property Reference number, Address, Postcode and RV's already populated.

  • Add the Business name

  • Add any Tag on the right-hand side by clicking 'manage'

  • Add any People on the right-hand side by clicking 'manage'

  • Click save and refresh your database to pick up the changes that have been made.
