What information does a business require?

Ideally, every business within the database should have a voter selected, a primary contact, a business email address and a business telephone number as a minimum.

How can I check this?

The best way to check this is to use the filters at the top of the columns in the Directory by selecting the 'Does not have' option in the filter box. This will return results that show you where you do not have that specific information.

You could also create a layout that you can return to at any point in time to make this filtering process easier.

People contact check

The next place to check in the database is within the People tab. You can use the same filter for 'does not have' for email and telephone numbers.

The most important place to check when reviewing people within the database is the 'Other People For' column. This will show you all the people within the database that are not connected to a business and can help you cleanse your data

Other places to review your contact data

The Business Contact Report is found in the main menu under 'Reports'

For every business in your database, it shows you if the business has an email address or a phone number. You can easily check for duplicates and clearly see what contact details are missing.
