Planning Your Launch Campaign

Your Campaign & Engagement Manager will work with you to plan your launch and your app’s first three months. Here’s what that looks like.

The campaign planning call

Working back from your provisional launch date, your Campaign & Engagement Manager will help you plan the launch itself and the first three months of your app being live. The call covers two audiences: your businesses and your users.

Getting businesses on board

  • Communicating with levy payers, partners and stakeholders

  • A strategy for targeting and engaging businesses – in person, by mailing list, or at events

Getting users excited

  • A walk-through of your promotional assets and how to use them

  • Identifying promotional opportunities – newsletters, ‘coming soon’ pages, social media

  • Ready-made communications to engage users

  • A launch competition to drive downloads during your first month

  • Tying your app into seasonal campaigns or planned events – to maximise visibility

Choosing your launch window

Big events happening in your area over the coming months can be the perfect springboard for introducing your app – we’ll explore these together, alongside any internal dates that matter to you. We’ll pencil in a provisional launch date, and confirm it in Phase 3 once your app has been approved by the app stores and everything is ready.
