Using layouts for your influential voters

Vicinity's layout function is a great way to create bespoke layouts for you to refer to whenever you are using the system and can be used in many different ways but in this article, we will share our suggestion for a layout that is focused on the important information around your most influential voters and businesses.

The columns we would suggest are:

  1. Address

  2. Billing RV

  3. Latest Activity Date

  4. Primary Contact

  5. Voter

  6. Voting Intention

Understanding columns

The columns selected in this layout give you a great overview of some key information about the businesses, being able to filter on the 'Primary Contact' and the 'Voter' columns to find out where they are missing information. Using the filter on the 'Voting Intention' column to find the Unknowns or Potential No's to create some strategy around finding out where you think their vote will land to drive the Ballot report.

When thinking about business engagement, you can use the 'Latest Activity Date' column to keep an eye on when these important voters were last in contact with the BID. You can select a specific time period using the filter or click on the wording to reorganise the list to see the most recent date an Activity was recorded or who hasn't had anything recorded recently.
