Our Responder suite of communications tools are there to help you reach your businesses and people stored within your directory quickly and easily.

The SMS feature of Solomon Responder allows you to send messages of up to 160 characters to mobile numbers stored against your business and people records.

Responder has been built to go hand-in-hand with Directory. The first thing to do is filter your directory by the criteria of who should receive the message (e.g. businesses in the 'Retail' sector, in the 'Central' area).

Once you're happy with the filters you have applied, select the responder tool to open the window pictured above. You can select SMS here.

The next step will then let you refine your Audience - this is where responder has extracted all of the mobile numbers from the businesses and applicable people in your filtered data, ready for you to send. You can select or de-select from this list to refine who will receive the message.

You can then compose a message of up to 160 characters to send to your audience. We'll be sharing some tips for how to get the most out of this soon.
