Workbench allows you to see any Tasks that have been assigned to you. You can view the due date, see the status of the task and close from here to manage your workload. It also allows you to see all your Activities and any Businesses that you have been assigned to.

How to view your Workbench 🧰

Workbench can be accessed by the 'Quick Start' button on the top right-hand side of the screen. This will open a taskbar on the right.

Find your task πŸ”

You can view all of the tasks assigned to you here and use the 'Sort' tool to allow you to organise them by the due date.

Once you have found your task you can choose to open the record for more information or change the status of the task using the Start/Done/Re-Open toggle button.

Note: When you press to start or complete a task this may send an automatic notification to other users/team members that this has happened.

Getting the detail πŸ–±οΈ

Clicking on the Task title in Workbench will allow you to view more details and add things like notes to the Task.

Use The Notes πŸ—’οΈ

You should use notes to provide updates on the progress of the task before it is completed or record significant things about the task - these are only visible to Solomon Users and not the Businesses or People attached to the task.

Completing Your Task βœ…

Once you have carried out the task you should ensure all your Notes on the Task are up to date and then click 'Done' in Workbench (or if you have the record open you can change this in the 'Status' box)

Logging Activities πŸ†•

We're currently working on making an Activity automatically generate when you click 'Done' but for now you'll need to follow these simple steps:

Within your Workbench, click on the title of the completed Task to open the record. On the top right of the window use the tabs to navigate to Activities.

When on the Activities tab, click 'Add Activity' to create a new Activity Record where you should detail the outcome of the Task you have carried out.
