How to add a competition
Getting a competition live takes just a few minutes:
👉 Log in to the dashboard
Log in to the dashboard - dashboard.getvicinity.com
👉 Open Competitions
Click the Competitions tab.
👉 Create your Competition
Hit the blue Create button (top right).
This opens a pop-up where you’ll add the details.
Leave the start date blank if you’d like the competition to go live immediately.
Add any terms & conditions that apply.
💡 Fields marked with a red asterisk () are required.*
👉 Link a business - Optional, but powerful
If a prize has been donated by a business, link them to the competition using the dropdown.
🙌 Bonus: this gives the business extra promotion in the app!
👉 Save your Competition
Click Save once you’ve completed the details.
Your competition will now appear under the Competitions tab. 🎉
👉 Edit your Competition
To edit, click the three dots next to the competition, then select Edit.
👉 Promote it
Click Generate Deeplink to create a direct link or QR code.
