Log In to Your Partnership Dashboard
Log in to your partnership dashboard using your login details.
Open Events
Click Events in the menu on the left side of the screen.
Add a New Event
Click Add New Event at the top of the screen to open the Add New Event form.
Enable or Disable the Event
At the top of the Add New Event screen, you’ll see the Enabled checkbox:
If the checkbox is ticked, the event will be live on the app (unless it is past its end date).
If the checkbox is not ticked, the event will not appear on the app.
Input the Event Information
Fill out the following fields in the Add New Event form:
Name: Enter the event name.
Description: Provide a detailed description of the event. Include important details like whether attendees need to book in advance or bring specific items.
TIP: Use keywords in the event name and description to make the event searchable and increase its visibility to app users.
Date: Enter the date that will display on the app, such as "10th July" or "First Monday of the Month."
End Date: This field is not visible to users. It determines when the event will be removed from the app.
For one-day events, set the end date as the event date.
For multi-day events, input the final day of the event.
For ongoing or recurring events, set a distant future date, such as 20th July 2200, to ensure it stays on the app.
TIP: Use the same future date for all recurring events so you can easily identify them later.
Location: Add the location where the event will take place. This will be visible to app users.
Venue Address: Enter the exact address, then click Get the Latitude and Longitude to pinpoint the location. Verify the map for accuracy.
Link URL: Add a URL that directs users to more information, such as a ticket booking site, event listing online, or business website. If no tickets or listings are available, consider linking to the business’s homepage or social media page.
Event Logo: Click Choose File to upload an event image.
TIP: Ensure the key design or information is centred with space around it. This ensures the logo looks great across different devices.
Save the Event
When you’ve completed all the fields, click the 'Add New Event' button at the bottom of the form.
Review and Update
You can revisit the Events page anytime to add new events, view your events, edit and update them, or disable them from the app.
